We hope to provide our members with the sense that they can feel in control of their own health, and not have to sacrifice time-sensitive treatments or therapies to the whims of a suit-wearing insurance executive who knows nothing about you. Back to basics means removing all the administrative nonsense that has creeped into medicine over the last few decades. Coding, billing, claims, hierarchal condition categories, relative value units, copays, etc. You’ve probably never heard of most of these terms, because to the patient they are worthless. But they exist, and they help drive up your healthcare cost behind your back.
